Basic Rice Krispies
1. In a medium size pot, melt shortening. The heat should just tickle the bottom of the pot. Don't try to make it quick.
2. Add the marshmallows to the pot. Stir constantly with a spatula. Do not raise the heat. Do this very slowly with patience.
3. When the marshmallows completely melt, add white food color. Stir well to have even color.
4. Turn off the heat and add rice krispies cereal. Stir and cover all the cereal with melted marshmallows.

Rolled Sushi
1. Drain and cut the pears into a size of sushi fish. To make a maguro, the tuna, dye the pears in red food color. Drain.
2. Open the Fruit Roll Up. Spread the thin layer of white krispies on top of the Fruit Roll Up.
3. Place two gummy worms on a side. Roll up the whole thing and make a cylinder.
4. Wrap with plastic wrap and let it rest about 5 minutes.
5. Cut the cylinder and make about 5 or 6 rolled sushi.
Nigiri Sushi
1. Make a oval with white rice krispies, just about the same size of Nigiri sushi.
2. Top with drained pears.

Fruit Roll Ups are red, which is a bit strange for a pretend nori, but it works good actually.
