CHICKEN WITH LEMON SNOWFLAKES SAUCE
Chicken Chicken thigh 1 package Soy sauce 2 tbsp Mirin 2 tbsp Ginger grated 1 tsp Potato starch 1/2 cup Canola oil Snowflakes Sauce Daikon radish grated 250g Soy Sauce 4 tbsp Sake or white wine 4 tbsp Vinegar 2 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 tbsp Green onions 4 stems *No peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat |
Chicken
1. Cut chicken into bite size. Place in a ziplock bag.
2. Add soy sauce, mirin, and grated ginger to the bag. Blend all ingredients.
3. Place the potato starch in a small bowl. Warm the frying pan with approximately 5 tbsp canola oil
4. Dip the chicken to the potato starch and fry.
Sauce
1. Grate daikon radish.
2. Take about 3 tbsp of grated daikon radish to your palm and hold gently to remove some of the liquid for garnishment later. Repeat as needed.
3. Add soy sauce, sake or wine, vinegar, lemon juice, and grated daikon radish to the sauce pan with patty liquid.
4. Heat on high. Add green onions.
5. Remove from the heat just before boiling point.
Combine the chicken and sauce and serve.
