Basic Rice Krispies
*If you are making rice krispies in two colors and want to make this at once, use two pots from the start.
1. In a medium size pot, melt shortening. The heat should just tickle the bottom of the pot. Don't try to make it quick.
2. Add the marshmallows to the pot. Stir constantly with a spatula. Do not raise the heat. Do this very slowly with patience.
3. When the marshmallows completely melt, add food color. Stir well to have even color.
4. Turn off the heat and add rice krispies cereal. Stir and cover all the cereal with melted marshmallows.
Shaping
1. Make the oval face, ears, hand, feet, and tail with white food colored krispies.
2. Make body, a sleeve, and two flowers with pink (you may you red to make it pink) food colored krispies.
3. Using Fruit By The Foot, cut out eyes, whiskers, nose, stem of the flower and a leaf.
Use Berry Tie-Dye's purple part to make the eyes and whiskers.
Use Color By The Foot's yellow part to make the nose and inside of the flowers.
Use Color By The Foot's green part for the stem and leaf. Roll the fruit snack to make the stem.
Put all parts together.
* I arranged 2 ladybug sugar decorations to add colors.
