1. Boil spinach in large pot.
2. In a medium size bowl, mix dashi, sugar, and hot water until sugar dissolves. Add soy sauce and stir.
3. Discard the water and wash the spinach with cold running water. Drain well.
4. Give a little squeeze to the spinach and add to the dashi bowl.
