POTATO STARCH NOODLE JAP CHAE
Korean style sweet potato starch noodle 1/2 pack of 500g package Meat of your choice (I used beef) Broccoli steamed 1 bunch Shiitake mushrooms sliced 10 Carrots thinly sliced 2 Onions sliced 1 Garlic 3 cloves Soy sauce 3 tbsp Sugar 2 tbsp Sesame oil 2 tbsp Canola oil *No peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat |
1. Warm the pan with canola oil and minced garlic 1 clove. Saute the sliced onions in low-medium heat. Cover the pan and let the onions steamed a bit.
2. When onions are opaque and tender, sprinkle salt and pepper. Set aside.
3. Steam the broccoli. Warm the pan with canola oil and minced garlic 1 clove. Saute the broccoli. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Set aside.
4. Warm the pan with canola oil and saute the carrot slices. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Set aside.
5. Warm the pan with canola oil and minced garlic 1 clove. Saute the sliced shiitake mushrooms. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Set aside.
6. Saute your meat of your choice. Saute with whatever/however you like it. (soy sauce, mirin, etc.)
7. In a large bowl combine all the vegetables and meat.
8. Boil Sweet Potato Starch Noodle according to the package.
9. Drain the noodle well, and pour over soy sauce and sesame oil.
10. Combine noodle, vegetables, and meat.
