1. Grate Daikon Radish and discard liquid. Drain grated daikon.
2. Sprinkle salt and pepper on salmons. Sprinkle flour of your choice just enough to cover the salmon.
3. Fry, or saute with extra oil, the salmons until they turn brownish pink. Turn the salmons and repeat.
4. Take out the salmons. Set aside.
5. Roughly wipe the excess oils on the pan. There should be a little remain in the pan.
6. Pour over water into the slightly oiled pan. Bring to medium heat. Add soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and dashi powder.
7. Put salmons back to the pan, followed by grated and drained daikon radish and grated ginger.
8. Add chopped green onions, stir gently and stop the heat.
The word "snowflakes" is used on any dished with grated Daikon Radishes. Very pretty.
