SNOWFLAKES SAUCE
There are mainly two types of Snowflakes Sauce Lemon Version Daikon radish grated 250g Soy Sauce 4 tbsp Sake or white wine 4 tbsp Vinegar 2 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 tbsp Green onions 4 stems Sweet and Mild Version Daikon Radish grated 1 1/2 cup Ginger grated 1 tsp Water 4 cups Soy Sauce 4 tbsp Mirin 2 tbsp Sugar 1 tbsp Dashi 1 tbsp Green onions 4 stems *No peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, wheat |
Lemon Version
1. Grate daikon radish. Drain the daikon by squeezing in the palm.
2. Combine soy sauce, sake or wine, vinegar, and lemon juice to a pot in medium heat.
3. When mixture gives bubbles, add grated and drained daikon radish. Add green onions and stop the heat.
Sweet and Mild Version
1. Pour water to the pan. Bring to medium heat. Add soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and dashi. Heat about 1 minute.
2. Add grated daikon radish and grated ginger to the pan.
3. Add chopped green onions, stir gently and stop the heat.
